The Scorpion-Fish

Discover the captivating world of Scorpion-Fish by Nicolas Bouvier, a compelling work of French fiction published in 2014. This 160-page novel invites readers into the mind of a narrator who finds himself in his 117th rented room, grappling with the aftermath of an epic journey. Abandoned by his lover and on the brink of financial ruin, he becomes obsessed with the insects that inhabit his space.
