Published posthumously in 1831, this two-volume work by James Rennell, the father of historical geography, surveys an area from Egypt to the Danube and from the Aegean to the Caspian Sea. Volume 2 surveys the classical territories of Asia Minor, and considers the Roman road network of the area.
